Jaguar's 2005 line features the sporty, high-performance cars that have made Jaguar a household name while introducing the cars to a whole new class of drivers: those who want an all-wheel drive, family sedan.

The Jaguar X-TYPE: Family Comfort, Jaguar style
The new X-TYPE models are all-wheel drive, four-door sedans, combining luxury, safety, comfort and toughness. The X-TYPE comes either with a 2.5 liter engine, manual transmission and 192-horsepower or a 3 liter engine automatic with 277-horsepower. The X-TYPE Sport package is available on the 3-liter model and includes a lower body kit with bumper valances and a rear spoiler, stability control, your choice of 18-inch Aruba or 17-inch Aguila wheels and power-adjustable seats, among other frills.

Jaguar VDP Edition
For an even fancier ride, buyers can choose the Jaguar X-TYPE VDP edition, with a souped-up sound system, elaborate trim, a memory driver's seat, heated seats, rain-sensing windshield wipers and a computerized garage door opener, among other goodies.

The choices include a 3-liter V6 and a 4.2-liter V8. Again a VDP package is available, which includes upgraded seats, wheels and trim, an automatic rear-windshield shade and automatic leveling Xenon headlamps. The Jaguar XJ
Five models are available in the XJ line, all powered by a 4.2-liter V8 engine. The XJ8 is the basic model, with a six-speed automatic, stability control and 18-inch wheels. The XJ8L is built on a longer wheelbase for more interior room, making the ride almost as comfortable for those in the back seat as those in the front.

The Vanden Plas is another model built on the long base, and it offers backseat riders a choice of seat configurations and electrically adjustable seat backs. Soft-grain leather seats and lambswool rugs will make you never want to leave the car, and with picnic-style fold-down tables on the backs of the front seats that can support a laptop, you won't have to.

Jaguar XJR
The Jaguar XJR is a performance machine, built for speed and sport. It's 390-horsepower supercharged V8 goes from zero to 60 in five seconds, and heated front and rear leather seats and a 320-watt Alpine sound system help make the journey as fun as the destination.

Jaguar Super V8
And for the ultimate in comfort and performance, there's the Super V8. Built on the long wheelbase, it offers monitors mounted in the headrests of the front seats, four-zone climate control and rear and side sun shades, among other amenities.

The XK line is all Jaguar: great looks and great performance. These two-door coupes and convertibles feature 4.2-liter V8 engines, six-speed automatic transmission and dynamic stability control.
